But hiring someone in Sweden for tasks that anyone can make for a fraction of the price elsewhere is difficult to defend to the data requires an operation based in Swedish tradition.

    • Glad you are commenting on and for the debate to the surface. However, I think we misunderstand each other a little while I agree with you in your writing. I have done too little research in order to express an opinion on what Sri-Lankanska university costs or what to give a SriLankan an hour. My point is simply that I think the Swedish engineers still should have more knowledge as a result of a higher quality of education.

We also had many enterprising people with good ideas (which in itself is partly cultural, but also with training to do). Should we continue to build prosperity in Sweden in the export of these goods, we need to maintain it as mentioned earlier. But if there is expertise in other parts of the world to do just as good products and come up with at least as good ideas for a fraction of the cost, so have not Sweden for the edgen we once had.

Belief without evidence, that it might be better mentality in Swedish engineers (just because we have grown up in a country which teaches us to think freely and to education itself has the focus), and it is something we would use to show us attractive.
