As a 16 year old student and industry it is natural that a company must produce a product, which we did. It was a evighetsspeg for Golf-angle. How could this be designed in as simple a manner as possible? Our budget was nonexistent, which made major constraints and opportunities limited.

Everlast Tees first prototype

We thought that ordinary pegs has two problems:

1. They fly away and be lost.
2. They break, usually in the hat or breaks in the shaft

The solution was tvådelningen, ie a split of the peg and the top part which snap together. The base remains in the ground and the top is hooked out. It always goes "off" for interconnection between the parts so that the rest of the tee is not deformed. A cord joins the parts so that the top is not to be lost and fly away. Our first prototype was made in the modeling clay with a standard push button in between (→). It worked pretty well, except that it went into the material. The mud was too brittle. A number of requirements were spread over the material and construction:

1. The material would be extremely durable and withstand large instantaneous strain
2. EverTee would be possible to mass produce at low unit cost
3. EverTee would meet current requirements from the Swedish golf courses, regarding the rules and environment

When I was 16 I went to ABB Industrial Gymnasium in Västerås. Traditionally, all students at the school participate in Young Enterprise . This is a competition between young entrepreneurs the chance to start a special type of firm, a UF business. A UF business operated for a year and special rules apply to profits and turnover. The basic idea is simple, to teach entrepreneurship and Youths

I had early betämt me to make a serious UF years and thinking about ideas. In the summer vacation came to me as a light commercial life of the Golf-innovators still EverTee (not verbatim):

After the idea was hatched, it was time to work to fulfill it. I had obviously no degree of relevant experience of any

similar before, during the process, a variety of mistakes, which will be addressed in later items.

UF company was started after the summer of me and two friends at school. Of course it was mostly fixed before school (and I am thinking not only of the group but also on sponsorships, manufacturing, etc..) Started because I have a tendency to start on time.
