I'm doing a survey for a job I have with the Department of Industrial Management and Economics, Chalmers University of Technology.

The study is to examine related companies deal with technology and IP issues and above all how the organization of this look. The question is then if you can see some sort trend and reach a conclusion on how companies choose their organization depending on industry, size, etc..

bolagsfakta.se is a database of information on all Swedish listed companies from which I have taken the population.

The other thing I have noticed is that education seems worthwhile. The technical director at the executive level has an amazingly large part of a PhD or research. There is thus reason to try getting in the academy.
